Role & Purpose
The Children's Ministry Intern is a part-time position designed to enrich your personal, spiritual, and professional life. Reporting directly to the Executive Pastor, you will collaborate with our ministry team as a compassionate mentor and creative partner. Your mission is to transform our Sunday Children's Church into a vibrant experience of the Gospel—one that ignites wonder and deepens the faith of every child.
What You'll Do
- Sunday Engagement: Create a warm, safe, and inviting space each Sunday during the sermon for children to explore their faith.
- Dynamic Teaching: I will assist in crafting and delivering engaging, age-appropriate lessons that kindle curiosity and lay a firm foundation in Scripture.
- Relationship Building: Foster authentic connections with children and their families, ensuring that every child feels acknowledged, understood, and valued.
- Creative Ministry: Collaborate to plan activities that intertwine storytelling, worship, devotionals, and creative arts into a rich tapestry of faith.
- Safety and Spiritual Growth: Maintain the highest standards for child safety while exemplifying a balanced, vibrant spiritual life and servant leadership.
- Active Participation: Contribute during staff meetings, one-on-one check-ins, and training sessions by infusing your innovative ideas into our ministry.
