City Light Church is a diverse, Gospel-Centered ministry located in Downtown Los Angeles and affiliated with the Presbyterian Church in America.
Qualifications :
This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree, experience with leading a Children’s Ministry, and basic administration skills.
Children’s Ministry Responsibilities :
The Children’s Ministry Director will lead and help to develop a gospel-centered ministry to our children. They will engage with parents, teach, and organize volunteers on Sunday mornings.
- Developing a long-term vision for our children to grow into godly men and women.
- Teaching at a weekly Children’s Sunday service.
- Overseeing the curriculum used for all of our classrooms.
- Recruiting and training teachers.
- Communicating with parents.
- Visiting families and helping parents in their responsibility of spiritually nurturing their children.
- Ensuring our ministry is in compliance with all state and federal laws.
