What are the responsibilities and job description for the 340B Analyst/Compliance Support position at Creo?
Creo is an innovative organization expanding the reach of the 340B program in Louisiana to ensure that qualified patients have access to specialty drugs for affordable pricing. Our model supports the implementation and the compliance of this program for private practices.
As we expand, we are seeking individuals who have experience with the 340B program. A history in the medical field, very strong detail skills, a problem-solving mentality, and the ability to work independently are a must in this role. Strong computer skills and a desire to learn new things are highly recommended.
The Role:
The following are aspects of this full-time position.
Daily Audits
· Perform daily audits of prescriptions to verify that the patients meet internal documented controls on a daily basis.
· Document all work performed to meet due diligence requirements.
· Perform monthly audits of both physician and 340B pharmacy operations.
· Oversee compliance with 340B Program requirements for qualified patients, drugs, and locations.
· Monitor and audit state Medicaid claims to ensure compliance to prevent potential duplicate discount rebates.
· Work with client designated representatives to ensure that facilities maintain adherence to 340B Program regulations and guidelines.
· Develop and foster working relationships with internal working counterparts to facilitate productive exchanges of information to improve program efficiency and promote program compliance. Provide data, information, and reports as needed for other business units within the organization.
Policy and Procedure Documentation
· Work with assigned clients to educate and maintain up-to-date policies and procedures on 340B purchasing processes.
· Support the development of systems and processes to limit program liabilities and provide proper audits to identify risk and prevent duplicate discounts and diversion.
Reporting
· Complete assigned reports that can be used to educate staff and assist management in tracking the overall financial impact to the organization. Build other reports, as appropriate, to monitor and improve 340B Program compliance and performance.
· Maintain copies of reports for compliance and audit purposes.
· Develop and update 340B Program reporting packages detailing volume, financial value, and other reporting metrics as needed.
· Provide or construct needed reports to meet HRSA requests.
