About the Role : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Network Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on the installation, monitoring, and management of enterprise-level Linux VM servers, virtualization technologies, and cloud storage solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in server data backups, network protocol analysis, storage systems, and network appliances, with proven expertise in collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities :
- Linux VM Management : Install, configure, and maintain Linux virtual machines, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability.
- Virtualization Technologies : Manage VMware vCenter, VMware ESXi 7.0 / 8.0 hosts, VMware Site Recovery Manager for disaster recovery, and handle cloud and on-prem backups using Veeam Backup & Replication.
- Backup Solutions : Implement immutable backups and configure Scale-Out Repositories for both on-prem and Azure storage accounts.
- Network Protocol Analysis : Conduct network analysis and troubleshooting using NetScout nGeniusOne and Wireshark, identifying and resolving application-related network issues.
- Storage Systems : Administer HPE Synergy and C7000 Compute modules, HPE 3PAR and Alletra Storage arrays, HP5100 / 5260 Backup Storage arrays, and HPE SAN switches.
- Load Balancers and Firewalls : Configure and maintain Citrix NetScaler, Azure and OCI load balancers, application firewalls, and Palo Alto NGFW using Panorama.
- Network Appliances : Manage Cisco routers, firewalls, network switches, and ensure proper firewall and router rules, VLANs, IP addressing, DNS, and DHCP.
- Certificate Management : Handle SSL / TLS certificates — creating, renewing, and installing across environments.
- Collaboration and Communication : Work with internal teams to troubleshoot application, network, and service issues, and liaise with external account managers and support teams to maintain service contracts and plan technology upgrades.
- Documentation : Use Microsoft Office and Visio to document systems architecture, network configurations, and backup processes.
