Summary

The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, and supporting the organization s local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet systems, or specific segments of the network system. This role is pivotal in ensuring the robust and efficient operation of our network infrastructure.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team in. This role requires a diverse industry background and involves working closely with both external vendors and internal teams to ensure seamless infrastructure operations.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with vendors such as QTS, Digital Realty, and Data Bank to coordinate power and cabling, while defining and procuring copper and fiber solutions.
• Work internally with network and deployment teams to meet connectivity requirements.
• Manage full cabinet deployments, ensuring all components are properly installed and configured.

Required Skills:

• Understanding of Corning Optical Fiber Technology: Proficiency in this area is crucial for managing and optimizing fiber optic networks.
• Data Center Facilities Infrastructure: Experience in managing the physical and logical aspects of data centers is essential.
• Hardware Rack-and-Stack: Expertise in assembling and configuring hardware components within data centers.
• Provision and Install Power and Network Cables: Ability to efficiently install and manage cabling for power and network connections.
• Troubleshoot and Resolve First Level Network Issues: Skills in diagnosing and addressing basic network problems to ensure minimal downtime.
