Job Description:
- The Cloud Cybersecurity Project Manager III will be responsible for managing a complex Cloud Cybersecurity project, requiring at least eight years of advanced security project management experience. This role demands extensive knowledge of web information systems, information system controls, web application development, and the ability to apply critical thinking and sound judgment to achieve project goals.
- In this position, the Project Manager will oversee a team of up to three staff members, including an Application/Software Developer and two Network Security Analysts, who will be selected after reviewing the project scope and timeline. When resources are limited, the manager is expected to fill in critical gaps and independently handle a variety of complex IT tasks, requiring a high level of creativity and flexibility.
- Key responsibilities include managing the project budget and timeline using enterprise portfolio project management software, coordinating with the Managed Services vendor, and ensuring successful project implementation that meets budget, schedule, and scope requirements to deliver optimal value for the client. Additionally, the Project Manager must adhere to the Project Management Framework while maintaining compliance with Client
Required Skill
- Advanced security project management experience, extensive experience with implementation of a complex DLP, web information systems, information systems controls, and sound judgment to plan critically think, and achieve goals.
- Ability to effectively manage a large-scale project for the implementation of a complex DLP, vulnerability management applications.
- Managing up to three staff augmentation contractors, including Two Network Security Analyst, and one Application/Software Developer or Cloud Security Analyst
- Handle the project budget and timeline using an enterprise portfolio project management software and coordinating with the Managed Services vendor to ensure that project is on time, under budget, and within scope and best value for DSHS
- Strong Knowledge and Familiarity using the Department of Information Resources (DIR) Project Management Framework, ensuring compliance within Health and Human Services and DSHS Security and Information Technology Standards.
- Experience Designing, Building and Security Web Information Systems using SaaS vulnerability management and DLP applications.
- Familiar managing when resources are limited able to handle gaps that might require them to independently perform a variety of complicated Information Technology (IT) tasks, as such a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
- Experience working with HHSC Security or Network Engineers at HHSC
