What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Waste Handler position at Crescent Manufacturing Company?
This position will train on day shift until fully qualified, then will transfer to the afternoon shift.
Objective/Purpose of Job
· Keep the Henry filters clean, as well as add oil and change filter paper as needed. Run the Solvent distiller and Company errands. Complete janitorial duties and other miscellaneous duties as required.
- Specific Duties
Solvent Distiller
1) Operate Solvent recycler
2) Move and deliver solvent as needed
3) Move D. I. water as needed
· Henry Filters
1) Check oil level and add oil as required
2) Monitor the filter paper and change as needed
3) Complete the Oil Filtration Systems Paper Log Sheet (MAINT-007, Rev C)
4) Clean mud from filter and dump
5) Clean up the dry zorb around the Henry filters
6) Squeeze the oil out of the Pig blankets and dump
· Briquetter (Mudder)
1) Run briquetter
2) Dump mud
· Janitorial Duties
1) Sweep Front Office (1st Shift Only)
2) Sweep the Training Room on a weekly basis (1st Shift Only)
3) Check the cigarette butt receptacles every two weeks and dump as needed
4) Fill the bottom of the cigarette butt receptacles with sand as needed
· Cleanliness of Plant
1) Clean floor with sweeper and floor scrubber on a daily basis (Will primarily be done on 2nd Shift)
2) Pick up any debris that is laying on the floor
3) Wax floors as required
4) Paint as needed
· Run Company errands as needed
· Seasonal Duties
1) Snow and ice removal as needed
· Miscellaneous Duties
1) Clean wash boxes
2) Make sure dock area is free of debris
3) Dump scrap steel as required
4) Inspect the parking lot on a weekly basis for blades
5) Make sure the outside of the building and the lawn are free of debris
6) Other miscellaneous duties as required

Hiring Requirements
· Previous working experience in a manufacturing/union environment is helpful, but not required
· Must be in agreement with Crescent Manufacturing Company’s Quality Policy and be willing to be an active participant in helping to meet the company’s goals
