Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and responding to inquiries.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tabs.
- Assist in catering events as needed, ensuring all beverage service meets the standards of fine dining.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies to maintain stock levels.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and ensure proper food handling practices are followed at all times.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when necessary.
Experience
- Previous bartending experience is required, particularly in a fine dining or high-volume setting.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations gracefully.
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations is essential.
- Knowledge of mixing methods and various recipes.
- Experience in catering or event service is advantageous but not required.
