Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, engaging with guests, and ensuring a memorable experience for all patrons.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Process cash handling transactions accurately using the POS system.
- Engage with customers to provide excellent hospitality, answering questions about drink selections and menu items.
- Assist in setting up for events such as catering or banquets, ensuring all supplies are stocked and ready for service.
- Monitor guest consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible service practices are followed.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods, particularly in nightclub settings.
Experience
- Previous bartending experience is not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and retail math is an asset.
- Experience in food service or hospitality environments is beneficial.
- Knowledge of cocktail recipes and bartending techniques is a plus.
- Day shift is 11-2 and night shift is 4-7 M-F.
