JOB DESCRIPTION :
The Medical Lab Scientist (Med Tech) performs diagnostic testing on patient samples to aid physicians in the diagnosis and/or monitoring of various disease states. This position is a working Supervisor position for Microbiology. Responsible for the day to day operations of the department. Responsible for regulatory compliance.
Minimum Education:
- Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science.
Minimum Experience:
- 2 years experience working in Blood Bank in an acute care facility..
Licensure:
- MLS or equivalent. ASCP Certified preferred.
This is a full-time exempt position.

Must-Haves :
- Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science
- MLS or equivalent. ASCP certification preferred.
- 2 years experience working in Micro Biology in an acute care facility.
- Have knowledge of AABB standards preferred.
Nice-To-Haves
- Experience with Joint Commission requirements
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with Quality assurance procedures.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
