Required Education and Experience for Customer Service Associate:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Knowledge of restaurant equipment and supplies is a big plus.
3. Experience with cash handling is preferred.
4. Experience of serving customers in a retail environment desirable.
5. Experience with merchandising shelves would be an asset.
6. English/Spanish-speaking, other languages welcome
7. Excellent communication skills both in person and on the phone
8. Must be able to multi-task with high efficiency.
9. Great attention to details and consistent follow-up habits are especially important.
10. Computer skills - experience with Netsuite (ideal!), basic keyboarding, typing, email, ability to learn new software, etc.
Outline of Essential Duties:
1. Exceeds customer expectations by being prompt and courteous either in person or on the phone, walking customers to the product in the store, providing guidance and knowledge of the product, and carrying the product to the customer's vehicle or arranging delivery service if necessary.
2. Provides a clean and safe store by maintaining the restrooms, refreshment area, sweeping and mopping the floors, and taking out the trash, keeping aisles free of empty boxes, carts, etc.
3. Operates the company's point of sale computer system, radios, multi-line phones, etc.
4. Adheres to procedures for customer transactions to include reconciling a cash drawer, making deposits, and accepting full payments via credit card, cash, check, wire transfers or charging accounts.
5. Merchandises through proper aisle maintenance by fronting, restocking, and dusting shelves.
6. Participates in training for personal development and assists with training for new members of the team.
7. Receives items and logs receipt in computer, labels items with prices, takes inventories, stocks shelves, sets up displays, and other related duties as assigned.
8. Performs a variety of duties assigned by the Store Manager.
Job Type: Full-time with benefits, commissions, bonuses, and hourly wage.
