Cabinet Painter: In this role you will be responsible for all actions necessary to take cabinet doors, panels, and trim from a raw wood part to a ready-to-ship finished product. While we do consider our paintwork to be an art, this is a high paced production role. All of our paint is applied with the use of various spray equipment. Our painters' process starts from the moment a door is received. They are responsible for: taking doors off pallets and placing them on paint racks, spraying, sanding, filling cracks and voids, staining, etc. in order to produce a quality finish, reviewing each part to ensure its quality meets our standards. Beyond this our painters are required to maintain the space and equipment used throughout the process. All of our employees may be asked to help with tasks or positions outside the normal scope of their job if needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Honesty & Integrity

- Ability to read and write in English
- Ability to lift 50lbs regularly
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude
- Willing to wear proper personal protective equipment for long periods of time
- Clean & Organized
- Good communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Fast learner with excellent attention to detail
- Drivers license and/or reliable transportation to and from work.
Experience:
- 1 Year of work experience in a related field preferred, but not necessary
Responsibilities:
- Operation and maintenance of HVLP and air-assisted paint spray guns
- Sanding, scuffing, and preparing product for paint
- Application of paint, stain, and lacquer
- Must be a hard worker and team player
- Self motivation to complete tasks effectively and efficiently
- Maintain high quality of workmanship
- Review and understand full scope of each project
- Assist other departments when needed or necessary
