At, Courtyard by Marriott Virginia Beach Oceanfront North 37th Street, we are loooking for a Pool Attendant to join our team! This is a seasonal position.
As a Pool Attendant, you would be responsible for ensuring a clean, safe and fun environment for guests at the pool in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Cleaning assigned pool areas in accordance with standards areas and checking/adjusting chemical levels in the pools as well as performing backwash daily.
- Replenishing amenities and supplies in the assigned pool area as needed
- Stocking and maintaining fresh towels
- Reporting any maintenance issues to supervisor immediately
- Acknowledging and greeting all guests in corridors and all other public access areas
- Answering questions about local area attractions and things to do
- Maintaining an up to date working knowledge of all property amenities as well as any special events
Requirements:
- Minimum of two years customer service experience
- Must be able to lift and carry 25 pounds; push and pull 50 pounds.
- Practice safety standards at all times and be alert to hazardous conditions. Report or correct any hazardous conditions immediately
- Other duties as assigned, of which the employee is capable of performing.
- Must have a positive attitude
