Intern - Summer 2025 – Product Management

Our automation and control solutions for homes and buildings allow our clients to control entire environments with the push of a button, integrating systems such as Audio Visual, Lighting, Shading, Security, Building Management Systems and HVAC to provide greater comfort, convenience and security.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside a team focused on delivering the best experience to improve the way people communicate, work, and learn.
• Conduct market research to understand the competitive landscape and where Crestron solutions fit in compared to other solutions.
• Gather feedback from the industry on how the portfolio is specified, designed, installed, and used, and where there is room for growth.
• Research, analyze, and validate emerging technologies that could be used in products to address market needs.
• Work with the team to write user stories for new features and assist with triaging bugs throughout the development cycle.
  
  

Qualifications

General Requirements

• Must be enrolled in a college or university working toward a bachelor’s degree
• Must be available to work up to 40 hours per week during the entire internship period
• Must be commutable to and from the Boston, MA area for the duration of the internship period
• Must have permanent, unrestricted work authorization in the United States now and in the future
  
  

Technical Skills

• Software development experience
• Knowledge of AI, ML, or Computer Vision methodologies
• Understanding of networking and audio / video technologies
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and Power Point
  
  

Other Skills

• Must be responsible, self-motivated, creative, have a solid work ethic and have a desire to produce a quality product.
• Strong communication skills (verbal, non-verbal, written, and listening) with the ability to articulate work at different levels of the organization.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Inquisitive individual with a desire to learn, possessing a long-term desire to work in the Product Management, Engineering, AV, and/or Sales space.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously.
• Positive, personable, and able to work cohesively with other across various divisions.
