THE SEARCH Crestview Local Schools is a district located on the western side of rural Van Wert County, Ohio. Its small size and strong community involvement are its core features while it serves as the heart of the community and boasts a strong tradition of student-centered academics. The goal of teachers, administrators, parents and community members is to provide students with a high quality education in a caring, nurturing environment that rivals larger districts with far more resources. Crestview is comprised of four schools over two adjacent campuses. The Early Childhood Center (ECC) sits across from the main campus and houses the preschool and kindergarten levels with a gymnasium and cafeteria. The main building holds the elementary, middle and high schools in their own respective areas including two gymnasiums and a shared, yet divided, cafeteria. In addition to the buildings, the campus also includes an athletic complex which is home to many sports teams. The Crestview Local School District Board of Education seeks an educational leader who fundamentally understands that students are at the heart of every decision and initiative. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an unwavering commitment to student learning, consistently prioritizing the academic and developmental needs of our district’s young people. This leader must exhibit a commitment to continuous improvement, actively seeking innovative strategies to enhance educational outcomes and organizational effectiveness. Candidates must have exceptional communication skills and ability to engage meaningfully with all stakeholders including parents, community members, administrators and staff. The board is looking for a proven educational leader with a demonstrable track record of driving academic achievement.
