Marriott Dallas Las Colinas, a full-service hotel in the lively Las Colinas area, is seeking a dedicated Barback/ Food Runner to support our bartenders and ensure smooth bar operations. As a Barback/Food Runner at Marriott Dallas Las Colinas, you will play a key role in providing outstanding service to our guests by supporting both the bar and food service teams. You’ll ensure the bar is fully stocked and organized, while also helping to deliver food to guests efficiently and professionally. This is a dynamic, fast-paced role ideal for someone with a passion for hospitality and teamwork.

Position: Barback/Runner

Key Responsibilities:

• Bar Support:

  • Stock and organize the bar with essential items like glassware, liquor, garnishes, and napkins to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist bartenders by preparing garnishes, replenishing stock, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the shift.
  • Ensure the bar area remains tidy and fully stocked, including ice, glassware, and beverages.
  • Dispose of empty bottles and trash promptly to keep the bar clean and organized.

• Food Running:

  • Promptly retrieve and deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests at their tables, ensuring an exceptional dining experience.
  • Confirm the accuracy and quality of food orders before delivery, ensuring they meet Marriott's standards.
  • Communicate any special dietary needs or modifications to kitchen staff, ensuring guests’ requests are met.
  • Assist guests with any food-related inquiries or requests to enhance their overall experience.

Requirements:

• Attention to Detail: Ability to stay organized and proactive in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical Stamina: Able to lift heavy items and remain on your feet for extended periods.
• Shift Flexibility: Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
