Senior Catering Sales Manager

Job Description:
The Catering Sales Manager is responsible for generating new business and maintaining existing relationships with clients in order to increase revenue for the catering department. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for the hospitality industry.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue for the catering department
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and other sales techniques
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create customized menus and proposals for clients
- Coordinate all aspects of events, including menu planning, staffing, and logistics
- Ensure that all events are executed flawlessly and meet or exceed client expectations
- Manage the catering budget and provide regular reports on sales and expenses
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in order to maintain a competitive edge
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in catering sales or a related field
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and catering software
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
