As a full-service Marriott hotel, we cater to corporate and social events, providing high-quality service and customized experiences. The Catering Director will work closely with clients, vendors, and hotel teams to ensure seamless execution of events, from planning to completion.
Position: Catering Director
Key Responsibilities:
- Event Planning & Execution: Oversee all aspects of catering and event operations, ensuring seamless planning and execution for meetings, corporate functions, weddings, and special events.
- Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and customizing catering services to deliver memorable experiences.
- Sales & Revenue Growth: Develop and implement catering sales strategies to attract new business, increase revenue, and maximize profitability.
- Menu Coordination: Collaborate with the culinary team to design menus that align with client preferences and maintain Marriott brand standards.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and guide catering staff, ensuring top-tier service and efficiency during events.
- Budget & Cost Management: Monitor catering budgets, control costs, and ensure events are executed within financial guidelines.
- Compliance & Quality Control: Maintain compliance with food safety and health regulations while upholding Marriott’s high service standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of catering, event planning, or hospitality experience (hotel catering experience strongly preferred).
- Proven ability to manage multiple events simultaneously with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Strong leadership and team management experience.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed for events.
