Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa is currently seeking a Recreation Supervisor to join our team
Job Description: Assists Recreation Ambassador's with maximization of guest satisfaction related to children's resort activities for specific purpose of increasing guest satisfaction and increasing revenues.
What you’re all about:
· You have a special interest in recreation, working with children of all ages, family fun, guest experience is number 1 priority
· You have the ability to teach children of all ages, different games and activities
· You have a minimum of 1 year of leadership experience in children’s programming department with a variety of ages
· You are an efficient multi-tasker who genuinely enjoys the high demands of a leadership role
· You place a high value on customer service and have related experience in a supervisory role
Responsibilities:
· Day to day interaction with children of guests, involving them in structured recreational activities.
· Assisting team members with handing out towels to guests
· Managing towels from towel desk area
· All inventory control and activity program development and evolution.
Assist Director and other supervisors with assigned duties.
Supportive Functions:
In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions.
· Report all suspicious persons or activities, hazardous conditions, etc. to the Security Department.
· Attend all mandatory meetings
· Provide general public assistance, instruction and/or guidance for guests
· Keep work area neat and organized
· Complete all other duties as assigned by Director

Physical Aspects of Position: includes but not limited to
· Ability to stand or walk for entire shift in all weather conditions, hot, cold and wind
· Occasional lifting and carrying up to 30lbs
· Comfortable working in extreme weather conditions, such as heat, cold, and/or rain
Grooming/Uniforms
All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance.
All employees must wear their assigned uniform.
Candidates should possess excellent communication skills and be available to work weekends and holidays.
