Pastry Baker - Creswell Bakery

Do you have pastry or bread experience? Are you not afraid to get up well before the sun rises to help make amazing mornings for our devoted customers? Then we can't wait to meet you! We are currently seeking a passionate, enthusiastic person to join our pastry bake off and/or bread team. This position is currently part time but more hours would be available for the right person. This position is responsible for baking off all of our morning and afternoon pastries as well as working some bread shifts too if that is something you are interested in!

Requirements:

- Professional experience - we prefer to see at least one year in a from-scratch bakery. Ultimately though, we are looking for the right person with a strong passion for baking.

- Strong Work Ethic - cleanliness, organization, efficiency

- Good attitude and the ability to work with others :-)

- A valid Oregon Food Handler's Card

- Open availability; shifts start as early as 3am and may include Saturdays, Sundays and some holidays (we are closed on Christmas and Thanksgiving but open all the days around those holidays)

- Non-slip, grease resistant kitchen approved shoes

- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift 50 pounds.

- Must be 18 years of age or older in order to use most bakery and kitchen equipment
