Head JV/Asst. Varsity Football Coach - Creswell High School

Creswell High School is seeking a Head Coach for the Junior Varsity Football Program. (Position includes role as Assistant Coach for Varsity Football program) for the 2025-2026 school Year.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• NFHS Coaches Certification
• High school Graduate
• Previous successful coaching experience
• Skills in working positively with adolescents
• Understanding of successful teaching strategies
• Good communication skills
• Successful completion of fingerprint screening
• First Aid CPR training

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Teach fundamentals of football
• Plan and supervise practices and games
• Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and school personnel

GENERAL AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Assume a supervisory and teaching role with athletes
• Design practices to build game skills and strategies
• Cooperate with CHS faculty and staff
• Oversee high school JV football program

QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED

• High school teaching experience
• High school varsity football experience
• Offensive and defensive line experience

Coaching Stipends paid at the end of the season. Actual dollar amount varies based on experience and step placement in accordance with the certified bargaining agreement, Extra Duty Salaries.
