Job Description
Crete Solutions LLC, a ready mixed concrete supplier is seeking a Customer Service Representative/Dispatcher for our operations in the Charlotte area. Primary duties include answering customer calls, setting up concrete orders and the logistics of assigning the orders to be completed daily. This includes but is not limited to entering orders into our system, answering inquiries concerning concrete, pricing on COD orders, coordinating with operations to satisfy orders and assist in other areas as needed. Excellent communication skills along with a positive, make-it-happen attitude are a must. Proficiency in Spanish is a strong plus. Willing to train.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls and enter concrete order information including customer, delivery location, mix design to be used, time of delivery and spacing.
- Assign each load to the most efficient plant/truck to ensure all orders are met and delivered on time with all order requirements fulfilled.
- Communicate with and assist other members of the sales and operations team to ensure exceptional customer service is achieved daily.
- Ensure all safety and environmental policies and regulations are followed.
- Assist in the oversight of all delivery professionals to ensure conformance to all federal, state, and company regulations.
- Ensure that all products meet quality requirements; assist in the taking of samples and test as necessary; ensure all equipment is working properly; complete required reports timely and accurately; inform proper personnel of any quality issues that need resolving.
- Assist in the collection of all COD monies and tickets; complete all required related reports and deposits accurately; maintain proper security of all monies.
- Other duties as they arise.
Requirements
This position requires a proven track record of trustworthiness, personal accountability and exceptional ethics. Other requirements include:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Five years of experience in the concrete industry
- Prior customer service/dispatch/management experience
- Working computer knowledge
- Strong attention to detail and effective interpersonal skills
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
