Warehouse Manager Ideal Candidate Profile
QTS is currently seeking an energetic, responsive, and well-organized full-time Warehouse Manager that will be responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling of the warehouse’s over-all operations.
Coordinate / direct warehouse activities related to Shipping, Inventory Control, Receiving and General Inspection through supervision of direct reports.
Seek out and implement process improvements.
Warehouse Manager Job Summary
Responsible for personnel activities of direct reports including staffing, training, performance evaluations, and career development including setting employee objectives linked to business initiatives and other key performance indicators.
Ensure compliance with current federal, state, and local regulations.
- Provide team leadership consistent with company vision and values.
- Ensure Inventory Control, Receiving, Shipping and General Receiving Inspection are running in the most efficient manner.
- Control inventory accuracy by managing cycle count schedule.
- Maintain physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
- Achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget.
- Manage multiple warehouse locations.
- Update SOP / QSP owned by the Materials department as needed.
- Update help documents associated with Materials department as needed.
- Attend and provided guidance in CAPA meeting associated with Materials department.
- Provide a safe and productive work environment by ensuring all safety standards are met.
- Reconciliation / researching of inventory discrepancies.
- Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements.
- Read, understand, and follow work instructions and standard work.
Qualifications
Warehouse Manager Skills and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years work experience in a regulated (preferably medical) industry in the Materials department.
- Minimum of 5 years providing direct supervision to materials personnel.
- Minimum of 5 years’ Forklift experience.
- Certified forklift driver.
- Experience with training others to drive forklift and preferably certified Train the Trainer.
- Minimum of 5 years ERP experience.
- Ability to use and train others on ERP System software.
- Ability to manage a team and to work well as part of a team.
- Ability to analyze information, including reports.
- Experience with managing multiple warehouse locations.
- Ability to recognize opportunities for improvements and implement.
- Ability to successfully communicate in a diverse work environment.
- Attention to detail and understanding of traceability.
- Knowledge, training pertaining to FDA, GMP and ISO regulations.
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher).
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and good organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and able to prioritize and multitask.
