Responsibilities
- Develop and implement deployment plans for new software tools including writing technical documentation, create training videos, and present live training demos
- Perform UAT and smoke testing prior to software deployment
- Learn proprietary research processes and systems to provide software solutions
- Perform Tier 2 level investigation and troubleshooting of proprietary research software
- Record troubleshooting steps and resolution details in Atlassian Jira Service Desk
- Manage and update knowledgebase articles
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Computer Science, or associate’s degree in similar fields
- Proficient in MS Office
- SQL scripting knowledge preferred
- Strong analysis and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Self-motivated, resourceful and innovative
- Ability to learn quickly and manage priorities in a fast-paced development environment

- Ability to work as part of a large, culturally diverse group, as well as independently
- Bilingual Preferred (Not required) English/Spanish
- Key Technologies and Skills
- Visual .NET
- Proficiency in using the Visual .NET framework for developing applications
- Experience with Visual Studio as an integrated development environment (IDE)
- C#
- Strong knowledge of C# programming language
- Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in C#
- APIs Querying
- Experience in querying and interacting with APIs, including Azure OpenAI APIs
- Understanding of RESTful API principles and best practices
- Proficiency in using tools like Postman for testing and debugging APIs
- Experience with LINQPad for querying and interacting with data sources (Preferred not required)
- JSON
- Proficiency in working with JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) for data interchange
- Ability to parse, manipulate, and generate JSON data
- OData
- Knowledge of OData (Open Data Protocol) for querying and updating data
- Experience in implementing and consuming OData services
- Azure DevOps Management
- Experience with Azure DevOps for managing development workflows
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, version control, and project management using Azure DevOps

- Experience Level
- Relevant experience in software development and the specific technologies mentioned
- Previous experience in similar roles or projects is a plus
- AI and Machine Learning, not required but would be a plus
- Understanding of AI and Machine Learning concepts and algorithms
- Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
- Ability to develop and implement machine learning models, including using Azure OpenAI APIs
- Knowledge of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques
