Technical Business Analyst

Location: MN-Golden Valley, Hybrid 3-4 days on site

Crew business analysis associates help determine business and technology needs, design solutions, improve processes, and represent stakeholders in project efforts.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Technical Analyst to ensure product development meets contractual and regulatory requirements, while reducing reputational risk to the company
• Part of larger product project teams
• Own and drive SDLC deliverables such as project scope, business requirements, test planning, execution, and defect management
• Implement new capabilities, like Partial Roth Conversion or product features as part of the overall Product Policy Value process
• Author user stories, create testing strategies, and support the quality assurance team in test planning and execution
  
  

Qualifications

• Strong critical thinking skills with an aptitude to translate high level concepts into requirements or test strategies
• Strong soft skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels (e.g., project team to executive sponsors)
• Strong technical aptitude
• Self-motivator/driver with high intuition, reacts to the work around them without instruction
• Operate with a high sense of urgency and proactively addresses open questions and risks
• Customer oriented
• Maintain a solution focus, facilitating “here’s how we can” versus “here’s why we can’t” mindset
• Actuarial/mathematics/or product development experience preferred
• Financial product modeling, test strategy, and execution oversight experience preferred
• Financial services experience preferred
• Experience with large scale, enterprise-wide implementations covering a broad and diverse group of stakeholders/end users
  
  

The salary range for this role is $62,000 to $85,000 or the hourly equivalent.
