Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Technical Analyst to ensure product development meets contractual and regulatory requirements, while reducing reputational risk to the company
- Part of larger product project teams
- Own and drive SDLC deliverables such as project scope, business requirements, test planning, execution, and defect management
- Implement new capabilities, like Partial Roth Conversion or product features as part of the overall Product Policy Value process
- Author user stories, create testing strategies, and support the quality assurance team in test planning and execution
- Strong critical thinking skills with an aptitude to translate high level concepts into requirements or test strategies
- Strong soft skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels (e.g., project team to executive sponsors)
- Strong technical aptitude
- Self-motivator/driver with high intuition, reacts to the work around them without instruction
- Operate with a high sense of urgency and proactively addresses open questions and risks
- Customer oriented
- Maintain a solution focus, facilitating “here’s how we can” versus “here’s why we can’t” mindset
- Actuarial/mathematics/or product development experience preferred
- Financial product modeling, test strategy, and execution oversight experience preferred
- Financial services experience preferred
- Experience with large scale, enterprise-wide implementations covering a broad and diverse group of stakeholders/end users
