What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Aide position at CRF Behavioral Healthcare?
Hours: 16 - 24 hours per week; flexible work schedule to be determined at the program level
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Education: High School diploma/GED required
As a Program Aide, you will:
Provide facility support for the Program’s daily operations.
- Complete errands such as grocery shopping and program purchases in accordance with Program procedures.
- Assist with menu development for client meals.
- Assist with client transportation.
- Keep in close contact with Clinical Team.
- Provide administrative and clerical support to Program Director, Assistant Director, and other staff members as requested.
- Assist with special projects as designated by the Program Director, Assistant Program Director, and other staff members as requested.
Additional Qualifications and Skills
- CPR/First Aid certification is required and must be kept current during employment
- Experience with mental health services preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment is essential
- Bilingual Spanish preferred, but not required
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office
- This program is housed in a two-story building that does not have an elevator. Ability to navigate stairs is required.
- A valid California driver's license in good standing and eligibility to be an approved CRF driver is required to fulfill the essential functions of this position. In addition, proof of insurance is required prior to driving personal vehicles on company business.
- Ability to pass criminal/background clearance

Del Sur Crisis Center is one of our Short Term Acute Residential Treatment (START) programs that provide intensive, community-based crisis residential services for adults throughout San Diego County. They deliver a unique alternative to psychiatric hospitalization to clients who are experiencing a psychiatric crisis of such magnitude so as not to be manageable on an outpatient basis. Their services are provided in a home-like environment that specializes in the psychosocial rehabilitation of each individual.
