Job Summary
The cash application specialist is responsible for applying cash applications to Open AR in the companies’ ERP system in a timely manner. Huge growth potential in both cash applications and or other areas of AR if candidate is wanting to advance their career
Job Duties
- Pull bank reporting daily via Bank of America CashPro website, BOA Global or United Transactions to view receipts
- Process cash receipts via Excel Macro
- Post funds in multiple ERP systems
- Research unapplied payments and missing information from bank source
- Assist Supervisor with journal entries for finance charges, miscellaneous journal requests and other write offs
- Assist Credit and Collections team with check copies if needed for research

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years related experience
- Detail-oriented, strong organizational skills
- Strong communication skills
- Computer proficiency in Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent telephone skills
- Team player – ability to share information within the department and company
- Ability to be flexible as we continue to process improve
