Production Operator/Machinist
We are seeking a skilled Production Operator/Machinist to join our team at CRH Oldcastle Infrastructure.
About the Role:
- Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements
- Set stops or guides to specific lengths as indicated by scale, rule or templates
- Observe machine operation to detect product defects or machine malfunction
- Perform routine machine maintenance
- Assist other operators to set up machines for production runs
Key Qualifications:
- Ability to read and understand job specifications and blueprints
- Familiarity with machine operations and maintenance procedures
- Excellent observational skills to detect defects and malfunctions
- Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot equipment issues
