Job Description
The Maintenance Worker is responsible for performing a variety of work including the maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds in assigned area(s). Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.
COMPENSATION: The hourly rate or salary range for this position is $17.90 to $30.43. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities
• Performs repair, replacement, or installation operations as required by work order in general maintenance and mechanical trades including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical
• Have general knowledge and skill of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and self-perform minor to moderate projects within these trades
• Identify/repair of broken, damaged property throughout facility. Includes but not limited to replacement of lights/ballasts, doors/hardware, fixtures, minor appliances, office equipment/furniture, drywall repair, hard surface and carpeted floor repairs, minor electrical repairs etc.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex problems with equipment where repair is not immediately visible or obvious
• Read and understand technical drawings (e.g. blueprints, electronic/mechanical schematics)
• Monitor and work within work management system, manage tickets as assigned, open/close tickets and complete incident reports for unplanned maintenance activities
• Conduct regular PM’s as prescribed by work management system, create new PM’s as needed
• Assist in securing general contractors and bids for large projects outside scope of in-house mechanic team
• Manage 3rd party vendors when utilized, inspect for quality and hold accountable
• Procurement and inventory control of materials/tools needed to maintain facility
• Ability to professionally communicate with client and building occupants daily, remains flexible to their needs
• Effectively evaluate/inspect building, communicate issues, provide solutions and updates for each project
• Manage shipping/receiving functions on behalf of client stakeholders. Prepare/coordinate outbound mail/packages and receive/distribute inbound mail/packages to stakeholders
• Liasson to building landlord/property manager for building related issues/repairs
• Proactively identifies issues, or potential issues and takes steps to resolve them. Effectively communicates them to the Facility Manager and applicable team members
• Performs other related and unrelated duties as requested
• Flexibility in working evenings and weekends as needed as well as being rotated through on-call listing
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 10 years experience as a skilled trades worker
- Graduation from a recognized trade school and 5 years working experience accepted
- Experience/Basic knowledge of below trades:
- HVAC
- Electrical
- Carpentry and Painting
