About the Position:
We are looking for an entrepreneurial Assistant Site Manager to oversee all aspects of our fast-paced lawn and garden products manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will have experience in monitoring daily key performance measures, ensuring safety and production flow, and controlling material costs. They will also be responsible for implementing process improvement methods and ensuring non-stop production in an effective, safe, and profitable manner.
Additionally, the Assistant Site Manager will provide leadership to staff, assess performance, and direct operational activities to ensure product quality and consistency. They will also assist with maintaining a quality control program to ensure that we produce products that meet or exceed customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor daily key performance indicators (KPIs)
* Ensure safety protocols are followed
* Maintain production flow and control costs
* Implement process improvement methods
* Provide leadership to staff
* Assess performance and direct operational activities
What We Are Looking For:
* 2 years of experience in manufacturing management
* Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills
* Bachelor's degree preferred
* Experience in wood/pulp/mulch manufacturing preferred
