Job Description: 

Aramark Destinations is seeking two Retail Sales Workers for the Crystal Reservoir Gift Shop during the 2025 summer season. In this guest-facing role, you’ll help open the store each morning, ensure it is clean, well-stocked, and visually appealing, and provide exceptional customer service to visitors from around the world. You will be responsible for handling sales transactions, maintaining product displays, and following Aramark’s cashier procedures to ensure a safe, smooth, and secure shopping experience.

COMPENSATION: The Hourly rate for this position is $17.74 to $17.74. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities

• Open the store promptly at 7:00 AM following all opening procedures. 
• Greet guests warmly and provide assistance and product recommendations. 
• Operate the POS system and handle cash, credit, and other forms of payment according to Aramark’s Cash Handling and PCI compliance procedures. 
• Follow all procedures outlined in the Retail Cashier Guide, including verifying your bank deposit, completing the Cashier Return Card, and securing funds with a supervisor. 
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment inside and out, complete daily cleaning and stocking checklists. 
• Re-stock merchandise according to planograms and merchandising standards. 
• Report and remove expired, damaged, or unsafe products. 
• Follow all guest service standards using Aramark’s WEST (Welcome, Eye contact, Smile, Thank you) service model. 
• Assist in inventory tasks such as cycle counts, tagging, and visual inspections. 
• Report suspected theft, counterfeit bills, or POS tampering immediately.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of retail supervisory experience. 

• Demonstrated leadership, organization, and communication skills. 

• Must be comfortable using Retail Pro (or be willing to learn) for inventory and voucher processes. 

• Ability to independently drive to Crystal Reservoir for each shift (carpooling encouraged). 

• Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled. 

• Ability to stand for long periods and lift to 50 lbs. 

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). 

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with inventory processes, receiving procedures, and transfer slips. 

• Previous experience working in a high-traffic tourist location or seasonal operation. 

• Knowledge of merchandising and planogram compliance.

Located along the scenic Pikes Peak Highway at approximately 9,200 feet, Crystal Reservoir offers a peaceful and picturesque work environment. The gift shop serves as a popular stop for travelers heading to the summit, offering retail items, refreshments, and incredible lake views. 

New for the 2025 season, Aramark will launch a dedicated food trailer operated by Blacksmith Catering, specializing in smoked meats and signature barbecue offerings. This exciting addition will enhance the guest experience and offer team members a chance to be part of a brand-new culinary venture.
