Outpatient Intake Specialist - SUD Treatment, Bilingual (English / Spanish)

The Outpatient Intake Specialist, Bilingual (English / Spanish) at our Substance Use Disorder Outpatient Treatment Center assesses applicants’ needs and eligibility for SUD treatment, determines CRI-Help's ability to meet their needs, and admits or refers all applicants accordingly.
Responsibilities
- Administer and complete assessment tool in order to determine the level of care and the appropriateness of the program.
- Identify “red flags” as described in the P&P manual and confer with the Program Manager when “red flags” exist.
- Assure all admission forms are accurately completed.
- Provide referrals to clients and / or their families as appropriate.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Program Manager.
- Maintain a minimum of 65% DMC billing productivity per month.

Education / Training
- Must be a certified SUD counselor, or registered to become certified.
Working Conditions
- Frequently remain in stationary positions, standing and / or sitting for prolonged periods.
- Occasionally crouching below the waist and / or reaching above the shoulders.
- Occasionally lifting and / or moving objects up to 20 lbs.
Experience
- Must have two years of related work experience in admissions and intake procedures, including interfacing with the private sector.
Special Conditions
- Must be willing to undergo random drug screenings.
