The Payroll Clerk maintains payroll information by collecting, calculating, entering and maintaining data.

Basic Function:
- Maintain payroll information by collecting, calculating, entering and maintaining data.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collect timesheets and ensure that they are properly approved and signed.
- Verify time calculations, consult employees about any discrepancies, and ensure wage law compliance.
- Enter timesheets, and payroll changes into the payroll system, such as changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, job title and department/division transfers.
- Ensure employees do not exceed time off accrual balances.
- Respond to employee questions and requests.
- Notify supervisors of policy violations.
- Maintain online copies of timesheets.
- Prepare manual check backup.
- Maintain Form 1095c schedules.
- Other clerical duties as time allows.
Skills / Knowledge:
- 2 years of payroll processing experience
- Knowledge of payroll laws
- Strong math and data entry skills
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Strong fluency in English, both written and verbal
Education / Training:
- High school diploma
Special Conditions:
- Must willing to undergo random drug screenings.

Pay Range:
- $24 - $28 / Hour
