Position Overview:
This full-time position requires the ability to safely and efficiently move large equipment as a team in a customer-facing role. The Installation (Move Crew) will be responsible for transporting, installing, and removing breakroom industry equipment at client facilities, while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Move, install, and remove breakroom equipment (e.g., coolers, vending machines, freezers, coffee brewers) to the correct locations within facilities.
- Perform light mechanical duties to support equipment installation and maintenance.
- Operate a non-CDL 28’ box truck throughout the company footprint.
- Assist in-house with light technical work and repairs as needed.
- Work closely with the Service Manager to ensure that scheduled moves are completed in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment and adhere to safety protocols.
- Properly track and report inventory information through a service tech application.
- Maintain attention to detail when handling equipment to prevent damage.
- Make sound decisions regarding safety, movement, and equipment placement.
- Follow company and customer safety guidelines and compliance regulations.
- Light electrical and plumbing abilities are a plus.
Qualifications:
- Ability to physically load and move heavy assets and operate moving equipment.
- Ability to drive a non-CDL 28’ box truck safely and efficiently.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to work effectively with other crew members.
- Reliable and self-motivated team member with a positive attitude.
- Ability to carefully handle items to avoid damage and ensure proper placement.
- Attention to detail and the ability to make safety-conscious decisions.
- Experience or ability to perform light mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work is a plus.
- Pallet Jack certification is preferred but not required.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
Skills:
- Physical strength and stamina to complete job tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize safety.
- Ability to operate various moving equipment and tools in a safe manner.
- Knowledge of light electrical and plumbing work is beneficial.
Additional Information:
- Location and Travel Requirements: This position is primarily based in Lancaster, NY, serving all Crickler Vending branches in:
- Rochester, NY
- Buffalo, NY
- Elmira, NY
Travel to all three branches and their respective accounts is required.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday.
- Regular hours: 6 AM start time.
