Position Summary :
The Senior Director, Payer Marketing, will report directly to the VP of Marketing and be responsible for leading Crinetics' payer marketing efforts. This role is crucial for driving the commercial success of our portfolio by developing and executing marketing strategies that effectively address the needs of payers, ensure product accessibility, and maximize reimbursement activities. This position will lead pre-launch market development initiatives, drive critical activities per launch strategy, and lead execution of the launch plan for Paltusotine. Cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Medical Affairs, and Market Access teams will be a critical responsibility to ensure the well-coordinated execution of the launch plan. Externally this leader will support our efforts to develop Crinetics' position as a leader in endocrinology by building strong relationships with the payer community, advocacy organizations, and Key Opinion Leaders. The Senior Director, Payer Marketing will ensure compliance with regulatory and industry guidelines in all marketing communications.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities :

- Develop and execute comprehensive payer marketing strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
- Create marketing materials for payer engagement.
- Collaborate and contribute on Global Product Teams (GPTs) for early and phase 2 programs to provide payer input.
- Conduct, understand, and synthesize market analyses, making recommendations to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities in payer landscapes.
- Translate insights to design marketing strategies, positioning, and messaging for products. Craft compelling value propositions that demonstrate the clinical and economic benefits of our products to payers.
- Contribute solutions with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of product messaging across all channels.
- Initiate preparation of value proposition for carcinoid syndrome.
- Support the implementation of the IGF-1 Free Testing Program, ensuring it aligns with product strategies and market needs.
- Prepare educational resources for payers and providers.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of payer marketing strategies and initiatives.
- Analyze and report on the performance of marketing programs, including the IGF-1 Free Testing Program, making data-driven decisions to optimize future efforts.
- Work closely with commercial, medical, and regulatory teams to align payer marketing strategies with broader organizational goals.
- Participate in product launches, ensuring that payer considerations are integrated into launch plans and materials.

The Anticipated Base Salary Range : $221,000-$276,000

The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience and education.
