JOB TITLE: MDT Support Specialist
CLASSIFICATION: Full Time, Non-Exempt, Hourly
REPORTS TO: Program Service Director
SUMMARY: The MDT Support Specialist is responsible for maintaining a calm, courteous and professional demeanor at all times, regardless of the visitor's behavior. . The MDT Support Specialist maintains a therapeutic demeanor when interfacing with clients and stakeholders. This position comes in contact with confidential information and as such must maintain the agency’s standard of strict confidentiality. MDT Support Specialist will help screen and input CPS statewide intakes for both Anderson and Cherokee Counties.

The mission of the Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) program of the Crisis Center of Anderson & Cherokee Counties is to promote a coordinated, multidisciplinary response to allegations of child abuse in a manner that is sensitive to the unique needs of children and their non-offending caregivers.
Summary of the Position
Description of Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for answering and triage of incoming phone calls related to MDT members;
- Provide clerical support to all CAC direct services staff to ensure that direct services are able to be provided in an effective and efficient manner;
- Data entry for client cases and CAC service provision,
- Generate statistical reports as requested by the CAC Program Director
- Provide support to the MDT Coordinator
- Order and inventory of MDT office supplies and office equipment
- Enter client data in a timely and efficient manner (case information, client services and case tracking into electronic case tracking system, case staffing notes);
- Assist the MDT Coordinator in preparation and planning for monthly Case Review meetings and timely documentation of case staffing notes in electronic case tracking system;
- Prepare meeting agendas for staff and Multidisciplinary staff meetings.
- Responsible for logging all statewide intakes for Anderson and Cherokee counties into our pre-intake option in Collaborate.
- Responsible for preparing and maintaining all CAC program forms utilized for direct services;
- Assist in coordinating logistics of trainings/workshops hosted by the CAC program
- Participate in Case Review meetings to assist in recording minutes and case status information to input into electronic case tracking system;
- Assist in preparing for MDT monthly meeting such as ordering food, maintaining cleanliness of meeting room before and after meeting.
- Responsible for scheduling CAC Services with Law Enforement and CPS.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma; associates or bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience in service delivery to children and families. Strong interpersonal and telephone communication skills. Computer and typing competency. Must have a clear criminal history and background check. Knowledge of CPS/law enforcement a plus. Must have a desire to work in child abuse related organization. Professional demeanor. Good attention to detail. Proficient in administrative and office related tasks. Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply. Other Pertinent Information:
Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
