Denise Louie Education Center offers a high quality, developmentally appropriate early education at four dynamic, inclusive schools with full day and extended day options. Multilingual teachers reinforce the languages kids speak at home as well as help them master English. The curriculum includes literacy, math, and social-emotional skills. The program arranges dental and physical screenings for all students, and families participate in monthly nutrition activities. Each child has an individualized plan developed jointly with the parent that identifies outcomes in social-emotional development, literacy, language development, mathematics, physical health, science, creative arts, and approaches to learning.

Classes : M-Th, 8 : 30am-2 : 30pm (year round).
Application process : Call and ask to speak to a family service specialist. Apply in spring to begin the program in September.
This program is for children ages 3-5 from low-income families. Children must be three years old by August 31 of the program year to enroll. Private pay slots are also available.
Fee : None for those who meet income requirements. Accepts Head Start, ECEAP, and Seattle Preschool Program funding.
