Job Type: Full-time, Non-Exempt, 37.5 hours per week

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9 am – 5 pm

Payrate: $31.04/Hour

Location: Seattle, WA, Hybrid

Union Representation: Represented by OPEIU Local 8


Program Summary:

Crisis Connections provides a variety of telephone-based support services that are free and easily accessible to anyone in our community experiencing crisis. Our service area includes King County and WA State. Our passion is to foster resilience and well-being for all by connecting people to accessible and compassionate support.


Position Summary:

This role will be responsible for data and reporting primarily for the Mobile Rapid Response Crisis Team (MRRCT) that provides in-person response 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to adults experiencing an active behavioral health crisis anywhere in King County. The MRRCT Dispatch Team ensures that outreach teams can effectively respond to crisis situations in the community. This position will provide data and reporting support to other lines, as needed.

As the Data & Report Specialist, you will be responsible for compiling accurate and timely reports and analysis to meet contractual requirements and data needs on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. This position responds to internal and external requests for data to track and analyze trends and to help share our work with the community. You will assist in system improvements and customizations for greater efficiency and to meet requirements as the program grows. You will collaborate closely with clinical, peer, and information and referral teams to ensure quality assurance and data integrity. Additional responsibilities will be assigned as necessary.


Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Run internal/external custom reports, track, analyze and report data/trends related to contact, client, call, provider, and dispatch data.

• Monitor data and run queries for specialized contracts and for Tableau Prep flows.

• Create and maintain data dashboards.


Required Qualifications and Skills:

• A creative and curious thinker with demonstrated problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong experience using Excel and ability to pass proficiency test required.

• Preferred experience with Access/SQL and Python or with business intelligence tools, like Tableau or PowerBI.

• Preferred experience creating database queries.

• Preferred knowledge of health and human services, behavioral health, or crisis response.

• Written and verbal communication is clear, concise, accurate and thorough.

• Works well within a hybrid team environment.

• Has an eye for process improvement, optimization, and innovation.

Computer Skills Assessment: Computer Skills Assessment: Crisis Connections requires a basic Computer Skills assessment to measure computer literacy and skills. The assessment is approximately 15 minutes in length and is timed. HR will provide a link to complete the test after screening qualified candidates. This assessment will be completed on the candidate's personal computer. Upon request, candidates may take the assessment at our office location as accommodation. Additional accommodation for the assessment are provided upon request.


Microsoft Excel Assessment: This role requires strong Microsoft Excel skills, and prior experience with database administration. We'll test your Microsoft Excel skills by sending you a timed Assessment link to ensure you meet our minimum proficiency requirements for the role.


Technology Requirement:

• High speed internet, minimum 20mbps download and 10mpbs upload speeds.

• Smart phone with ability to download Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) application.


Working Conditions: 

Individuals in this position should be able to sit or stand for lengthy periods of time. Individuals will need to be able to wear a headset or earphones as they take calls and attend meetings. Individuals will need to manage several IT/software platforms at once and be able to function in an environment with moderate noise and distraction.

• This position will expose you to conversations about suicide, mental health issues and staff responding to crisis situations.
