Who We Are Looking For
The Learning and Development Manager for Crisis24’s IRM-Global Operations Division is responsible for creating, improving, and sustaining training protocols and methodology in support of the Global Operations Team. You will support a training program that allows our team to demonstrate a highly efficient and effective operational output through medical and security assistance for our clients.
Crisis24’s global security and medical operations team supports our clients in fulfilling their duty of care and travel risk management requirements, providing them with a range of professional security & medical services for their routine & high-risk travel.
This position is based in Annapolis, MD USA
What You Will Work On
Serve as a team member in a Crisis24 Global Operating Center. Interface with security, medical, and intelligence subject matter experts (SMEs) who support a wide range of security, medical, and risk mitigation products.
Develop and maintain a sustainment training program to ensure quality control and continued service excellence.
Oversee the development and implementation of new training to address adjusted service requirements.
Support and improve Global Operations Centre security instructions, protocols, and client standard operating procedures.
Evaluate service quality and identify areas for remedial or additional training.
Serve as an operations specialist as surge capacity or in the absence of an incumbent.
Collaborate and meet regularly with operations leadership for programmatic reviews and improvement strategies.
Actively train through a day-to-day support structure by providing guidance and assistance to Global Operations Centre staff and Managers, ensuring consistency, competence, and efficiency in security and medical-related response handling and operational tasks.
What You Will Bring
Bachelor’s degree in international studies, development, or a related field; or 4 years of direct experience in emergency/crisis response, military, or high-tempo communication centers.
Experience in international studies, emergency management, call centers, or expatriate services is preferred.
Knowledge of psychological first aid is a plus.
Ability to work in the designated country without restrictions and follow a hybrid office schedule.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex situational details to staff and clients.
Fluency in English and/or French/German is an advantage; additional language skills are a plus.
Strong team player capable of handling additional responsibilities with professionalism.
Inspirational and motivational leadership skills, particularly in instructing and guiding teams.
Proven ability to lead teams and brief senior or executive-level staff.
Solutions-oriented mindset, with strong problem-solving, judgment, and critical thinking skills.
Exceptional management, organizational, and administrative abilities, with attention to detail in fast-paced environments.
Skilled in researching, evaluating, and synthesizing information from various sources.
Extensive experience in leading operational teams, including mission planning, execution, and post-operation reviews.
Proficiency in MS Office and the ability to quickly learn new systems and applications.
