Job Description
The Learning and Development Manager plans, develops, implements, and administers development and training programs for company employees. The manager also acts as a liaison and advisor to the organization's leadership and facilitates initiatives across the organization. This position assesses company-wide developmental needs to drive training initiatives and identifies and arranges suitable employee training solutions. This position actively searches, creatively designs, and implements effective teaching methods to enhance performance.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Directs the needs assessment for training and staff development to enhance the effectiveness of employee performance in achieving the goals and objectives of the company.
- Identifies and incorporates best practices and lessons learned into program plans.
- Designs and develops HR training programs for management and employees.
- Develops learning activities, audio-visual materials, instructor guides and lesson plans.
- Reviews evaluations of training courses, objectives and accomplishments.
- Support leaders with Succession and employee development plans
- Makes assessments of effectiveness of training in terms of employee accomplishments and performance.
- Presents course materials.
- Consults with management on performance, organizational and leadership matters.
- Conducts needs assessments to determine measures required to enhance employee job performance and overall company performance.
- Exemplifies the desired culture and philosophies of the organization.
- Works effectively as a team member with other members of management and the HR staff.

Salary & Benefits
The compensation for this position ranges from $50,617.00 - $151,851.00 / yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills, job-related knowledge, and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions.
