What you’ll do:
- Vendor Management: Oversee all marketing vendors, including those managing the website, SEO, blogs, and advertising platforms.
- Social Media Management: Build and manage the firm’s social media presence by overseeing content, analyzing performance, refining strategies, and developing new initiatives to continuously enhance engagement and ensure compliance with legal guidelines.
- Content Creation and Media Visibility: Develop high-quality content, including press releases, and strategically disseminate them to maximize visibility across all media platforms. Ensure messaging aligns with the firm’s brand and objectives while leveraging opportunities to enhance engagement and public awareness.
- Educational Campaigns and Thought Leadership: Develop, initiate, and execute educational campaigns and initiatives that position the firm as a subject matter expert on employment law.
- Data-Driven Analysis: Assess the effectiveness of marketing campaigns by analyzing key metrics such as vendor performance, lead generation, case quality, and budget utilization.
- Strategic Marketing Initiatives: Ensure marketing efforts are impactful and aligned with the firm’s objectives. Develop and recommend new marketing initiatives by identifying where resources should be focused to maximize effectiveness and drive impactful results.
- Generate Higher-Quality Leads: Refine target demographics and implement strategic advertising initiatives to attract higher-quality leads.
- Compliance: Ensure all marketing and advertising initiatives comply with legal guidelines and regulations, particularly in Florida.
- Budget Management: Strategically allocate marketing budgets to maximize ROI, ensuring that all expenditures align with the firm’s goals.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience: 5 years in marketing, with a focus on digital marketing, campaign management, and social media strategy. Experience in marketing within the legal industry and knowledge about Florida advertising laws is highly preferred.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Proven ability to create impactful campaigns, analyze performance data, and make informed decisions to improve marketing efforts.
- Vendor Management Experience: Proven experience in managing marketing vendors. Experience working with or familiarity with web vendors such as Martindale-Hubbell, FindLaw, Internet Brands, Crisp, and Scorpion (specializing in website and SEO management) is highly advantageous.
- Team Management Experience: The ideal candidate has demonstrated experience managing a team, including hiring, firing, and performance management, with the ability to build and scale a marketing team to align with the firm’s growth objectives.
- Legal Knowledge: Familiarity with employment law or a willingness to learn about legal guidelines relevant to the firm’s areas of practice.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail in proofreading and content creation.
- Tech Proficiency: Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Smart Advocate), SEO tools, and advertising platforms.
