As a Crisp Business Development Representative, your primary responsibility will be to generate net-new business pipeline by sourcing, qualifying, and scheduling strategy sessions with prospective clients for our Account Executives. Your role represents the critical first point of meaningful contact in our sales process. To succeed in this role, you'll need to be comfortable engaging with sophisticated buyers, maintaining a high volume of outbound calls daily, and converting qualified leads into scheduled appointments for Account Executives.
What You'll Be Doing
- Generate 50% of your pipeline through self-sourced outbound efforts, including cold calling, targeted campaigns, LinkedIn messaging, and other creative outreach methods.
- Engage warm inbound leads with consultative discovery, qualifying their potential and scheduling them for strategy sessions with Account Executives.
- Work out of Hubspot, track activities, take notes, and keep assigned leads up-to-date in the CRM.
- Meet or exceed daily activity targets of 80–100 outreach interactions.
- Communicate persuasively across written and verbal channels, employing a consultative, value-driven approach.
- Proactively call and confirm booked strategy sessions to optimize meeting attendance and pipeline performance.
- Focus on building meaningful relationships with potential clients to understand their needs and tailor our solutions accordingly.
- You have 1–2 years of relevant experience in sales or business development roles.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, particularly HubSpot.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, quickly adapt to changing priorities, and consistently hit targets.
- Comfortable communicating with sophisticated buyers, C-level executives, and business owners with confidence and professionalism.
- Demonstrated ability to manage high volumes of outreach activities daily.
- A coachable mindset with an eagerness to learn and improve.
- Able to work in our Atlanta, GA office 5 days per week.
