Crissair is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer with three to five years of prior experience.

Summary
Leads the planning and coordination of the manufacturing improvement projects within the Assembly & Test department. Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods using knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards. Provides training support to the Assembly & Test department. Analyzes and recommends work force utilization, space requirements, workflow, and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
Job Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other tasks and duties may be required as directed.
- Conceive and develop valid manufacturing solutions and processes through the application of professionally accepted engineering techniques, practices, and procedures.
- Ensure that all manufacturing procedures and processes conform to company and / or contract requirements for quality and performance.
- Compile and evaluate manufacturing data against product conformance standards and specifications.
- Design, develop, and modify tooling, devices, equipment, and processes as required to meet manufacturing and test needs.
- Analyze, evaluate, and recommend innovative applications and approaches to meet design and quality needs.
- Review engineering drawings, procedures, and change orders.
- Generate fabrication and assembly work instructions.
- Answers internal and customer driven Corrective Action Requests (CAR's) by performing an investigation and determining root causes of the defect and accurately documents information.
- Leads cross-functional teams to evaluate, troubleshoot, implement, and improve manufacturing processes.
- Provides support and leadership to Assembly & Test department.
- Collects and tracks data for Assembly & Test department metrics and reports the information accordingly.
- Provides training and mentorship to Assembly & Test department to ensure knowledge transfer and skills development.
