Workers’ Compensation Paralegal/Case Manager
Qualifications:
- High school diploma.
- At least two (2) years of experience as a paralegal.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including good presentation skills.
- MUST HAVE WORKERS’ COMPENSATION EXPERIENCE
Preferences:
- Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies, Bachelor’s Degree, or a Paralegal Certificate.
- Experience with Time Matter software as well as Office 365 and Adobe Pro.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of Workers’ Compensation defense cases.
- Communicate with clients and opposing counsels.
- Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, subpoenas and affidavits.
- Draft and proofread correspondence and legal documents.
- Respond to all discovery requests.
- Review and summarize medical records.
- Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs
- Schedule depositions, conferences, mediations, hearings, and other events.
- Assists attorneys with trial preparation.
- Enter billing.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
