As a Field Superintendent, you will oversee the construction of high-quality homes, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. You'll work closely with vendors, manage schedules, perform inspections, and lead by example to uphold our commitment to excellence. Your leadership will play a pivotal role in delivering homes that exceed customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect homes daily to ensure quality and accuracy, addressing any issues promptly.
- Update and manage construction schedules to maximize efficiency.
- Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely deliveries and resolve discrepancies.
- Lead quality control efforts and uphold company standards.
- Conduct homeowner orientations and ensure job sites are presentable for visits.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to foster teamwork.
- Evaluate vendor performance and issue corrective actions when necessary.
- Approve invoices and purchase orders to maintain budget integrity.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential construction, preferably in a production home setting.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
- Creative problem-solving skills and adaptability to challenges.
- A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to job sites with reliable transportation (mileage reimbursement provided).
- Ability to perform physical activities such as standing, walking, and inspecting job sites.
