Nominally Stipend Volunteer Coaches
Cristo Rey San José Jesuit High School is looking for volunteer coaches for the 2024-2025 school year.
This is a great opportunity to teach students the fundamentals of the sport, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
The following volunteers positions are needed for our 2024-2025 varsity sports season:

Cristo Rey San José Jesuit High School Coaches will consistently work as a team to model and help all

VOLUNTEER ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement basic principles surrounding the fundamentals of sport
- Train and monitor student use of equipment
- Inventory and properly maintain all equipment
- Oversee transportation of student-athletes to and from competition with the use of school
provided vans
- Be able to coach evening, weekends, and travel across the greater Bay Area
- Maintain detailed and accurate files
- Effectively and positively communicate to athletes, parents, administration, and school
community
- Attend all mandatory athletic department and league meetings including Preseason coaches
meetings and season ending Banquet and Awards Night
QUALIFICATIONS TO VOLUNTEER
- Must be enthusiastic.
- Must not have a Win at all cost mentality.
- Must be patient.
- Must be organized.
- Must be dependable
- Have a Growth mindset for themselves and the team.
- Playing experience through High School (college preferred)
- Must have a valid drivers license
STIPEND
- Head Coach - up to $2500 per season
- Assistant Coach - up to $1,000 per season
