What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Media Client Partner position at Criteo?
What You'll Do:
As an integral part of the Account Strategy organization, the Client Partner will work on a large customer book of business partnering closely with an Account Strategist and Sales Manager. The Client Partner will work with the pod to build in depth and data driven campaign strategies, play a major role in business reviews, advocate for clients internally and work with internal teams to drive the overall business forward.
Client Relationship Management:
- Managing the day-to-day relationships with priority clients to ensure we exceed their goals and expectations, growing the client’s account by becoming an expert in the client’s business & executing strategic account plans that prioritize the client’s overall business goals.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
- Understand clients' business objectives and challenges to provide tailored solutions.
Strategic Client Advisory:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their strategic goals and align Criteo’s solutions to meet those goals.
- Provide clients with insights and recommendations based on industry trends and data analysis.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling Criteo’s products and services.
- Assist in pre-sales activities and analyze opportunities for new brands and retailers on existing relationships
Performance Analysis and Reporting:
- Conduct and support quarterly business reviews (QBR), brand and partner days while supporting more regular status check ins
- Use data-driven insights to evaluate the effectiveness of client engagements and initiatives.
- Prepare and present detailed performance reports to clients.
- Utilize analytical tools to track trends, identify opportunities, and forecast outcomes.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work with cross functional teams internally to advocate client’s needs & partner on development & implementation, as well as connect with external retail partners to develop & present a cohesive strategy & provide added value to a priority client
o (ex. – work with AX to develop additional reporting, retailer teams to share concerns or feedback, product to influence the roadmap)
- Work with internal sales & campaign management teams to ensure campaigns are running smoothly, goals are being met, technical issues are being troubleshooted timely and effectively, & to develop insightful insights for all client audiences & levels
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide training and support to clients on Criteo’s platform and retail media best practices.
Market and Industry Knowledge:
- Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape.
- Leverage market insights to inform strategic decisions and client recommendations.
- Attend industry events and conferences to represent Criteo and network with potential clients Account Strategist Management:
- Onboard & manage Account Strategist by providing proper training, tools, & feedback, & continuing to develop associate team members working in the pod.
- Conduct weekly 1:1s, performance reviews and mentor and help develop the account strategist on the pod.
Who You Are:
- 5-7 years of direct client management experience in a data driven digital media or e-commerce field
- Bachelor's degree or 4 years of equivalent experience required
- Ability to navigate and collaborate with other internal departments to produce positive results for clients
- Demonstrated ability to influence and negotiate complex situations
- Superior communication (written and verbal), strong presentation skills and proficiency in excel
- Experience working across multiple products, with display experience preferred
- Genuine enthusiasm for an interruptive space that is in constant motion and desire to influence through hard work, idea generation and teamwork
- Stepping up to lead projects that move the Account Strategy organization forward while becoming a mentor and coach for new team members

The US base salary pay range for this position per year is:
