Our client, a well-established insurance agency, is seeking an experienced Benefits Support Specialist to support the Benefits Department and clients. This role involves managing benefits administration, system integrations, and client services in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Benefits Administration & Compliance :
oManage client accounts, configure benefits plans, and conduct audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Data Integration & Payroll :
oOversee payroll and carrier integrations, troubleshoot transmission issues, and proactively resolve errors.
Client Support & Enrollment :
oPrepare RFPs, proposals, open enrollment materials, and benefit summaries.
oManage enrollment, billing, and eligibility issues, processing changes on carrier platforms.
System & Documentation Management :
oMaintain and update agency records, contracts, and internal processes.
Qualifications
Experience : 2–3 years of administrative experience in the insurance industry.
Technical Skills :
oProficiency in Employee Navigator or similar HRIS / benefits platforms, with knowledge of benefits administration, payroll, and carrier integrations.
oStrong Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and technical troubleshooting skills.
Preferred : Active Accident, Sickness, and Life Insurance license a plus.
Soft Skills :
oStrong communication, self-motivation, and ability to multitask independently.
oTeam-oriented, adaptable, and process-driven with a focus on efficiency and innovation.
