What are the responsibilities and job description for the Insurance broker position at Criterion Executive Search?
- Develop client relationships to generate submission opportunities and a regular flow of business.
- Review submission documents received to prepare additional information, including loss pics / summaries, loss stratifications, risk summaries, narratives, online research, and requesting additional information needed from the client.
- Select and market the risk, by line of coverage, to markets to negotiate terms and pricing.
- Provide comparisons and illustrations to compare options and support the client presentation process.
- Utilize knowledge of automated systems to develop information for new or renewal policies.
- Review requests for cancellation, endorsements, etc.
- Review policies for renewal consideration and remarketing.
- Request additional documentation necessary for the processing of an application, endorsement, or cancellation.
- Conduct marketing visits to agents and attend conventions.
- Must have a great sense of urgency and have at least 2 years of experience on the wholesale broker side building a book.
- Only in the office 2 days a week.
