A Logistics Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing the supply chain and ensuring the efficient movement of goods.
Summary:
DUTIES:
- Coordinate Shipments: Ensure timely and accurate dispatch and delivery of goods.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock lists and help conduct inventory audits.
- Vendor Coordination: Work with vendors, suppliers, and transport companies to secure transportation rates and ensure smooth operations.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed logistics documentation and reports.
- Problem-Solving: Analyze logistical issues and develop solutions to improve efficiency.
- Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with company policies and local, state, and federal regulations.
- Customer Service: Interface with customer service teams to manage orders and troubleshoot issues.
- Safety Standards: Ensure safety standards are met in accordance with company and regulatory guidelines.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Generate quotes and coordinate the shipping of parcel and freight inbound, outbound and drop ships for multiple locations.
- Maintain ID freight vendor shipping log for tracking and key performance indicator.
- Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to Supply Chain Manager.
- Receive and process rental returns, customer repairs and stock items recording data manually or using a computer.
- Mark and track items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools and other labeling equipment.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by Supply Chain Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-year related experience
- Ability to be forklift certified
- Previous leadership experience a plus
